Service Description

MyEB provides scheduled power cut notifications and related electricity information based on publicly available data from TANGEDCO (Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation) and other state electricity boards. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with any government body or electricity board.

Data Accuracy

• Power cut schedules are sourced from official electricity board publications
• Schedules may be changed or cancelled by the electricity board without notice
• We provide information on an "as-is" basis with no guarantee of completeness or accuracy
• We are not liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damage caused by inaccurate or delayed information
• Always verify critical information directly with your electricity board (TNEB helpline: 1912)

User Responsibilities

• Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Do not submit false outage reports
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app or its data
• Do not use automated tools to scrape or extract data from our services

Crowdsourced Reports

Users may report unplanned outages or power restoration. These reports are crowdsourced and we do not guarantee their accuracy. We are not responsible for actions taken based on user-submitted reports.

Intellectual Property

The app, its design, features, and compiled data are the intellectual property of MyEB. The underlying electricity board data remains public information.

Availability

We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service depends on internet connectivity and may experience downtime for maintenance.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyEB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Tamil Nadu.
